Crayères Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2021
It’s from a close-planted vineyard at Wrattonbully and it goes into 600 litre oak.
It’s textural, reserved and powerful at once. It’s needs to spend a little more time in bottle to start showing its best. Flint, gunmetal, passionfruit and lemongrass characters do the bidding, but it’s the long, cool, complex flow of it that really impresses. This isn’t about fruit it’s about texture, composure, and the long slatted feature of its finish.
